The BTNAU supports its membership in international organizations: the European Association of Veterinary Educational Institutions (EAEVE); Baltic University Program (BUP); Visegrad University Association; AgriMBA International Network; European Network for Rural Development (ERDN).
The University participates in the programs of Erasmus+, British Council, NATO, DAAD, Fulbright, FEFU, APOLLO, LOGO. Together with VetAgro Sup Lyon, France, the university implemented a twinning project under the OIE program to modernize education at the Faculty of veterinary medicine.
The University maintains partnerships with foreign higher education institutions and provides students with the opportunity to study and intern under the European programs Erasmus + K107 and Erasmus + K2 in 20 countries e.g.: Afyon Kocatepe University, Ondokuz Mayıs University (Turkey); Czech University of Life Sciences (Czech Republic), VetAgro Sup (France); University of Debrecen (Hungary); Agricultural University (Plovdiv, Bulgaria); University of Agriculture in Krakow (Poland); Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovakia); University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca (Romania); University of Ljubljana (Slovenia); University of Teramo (Italy); Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences (Poland).
The students go on exchange study program for one semester at the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk (Poland) with possibility to join the program of double diploma.
The student youth of the university has ample opportunities to gain foreign experience, master modern technologies, learn about the world, make new friends, improve their knowledge of foreign languages during internships at companies abroad.
