INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTRATION

The Registration is so far open for two categories of participants:

  • Vice Chancellors/Rectors at universities
  • Invited participants: BUP Centre Directors, Keynote speakers, Theme coordinators and Scientific committee members.

The registration for the category researchers whose abstract is accepted for oral presentation at the symposium part 2 - BUP Research Forum - will be open in February after the announcement of selection results. Since we have limited number of places, we will announce later if the registration will be open for other categories as well.

The Baltic University Programme's main aim is to support building strong regional educational and research communities. The goals with the BUPSYMPOSIUM2020 are therefore to provide:

  • an opportunity to meet colleagues
  • an arena where to discuss research
  • an opportunity to disseminate and take part of new knowledge
  • an opportunity to get published and spread research in the BUP

The BUP Research Forum, as a part of the symposium, is an inter-disciplinary forum with an emphasis on research relevant to the Baltic Sea Region in the context of Sustainable Development with focus on nine different Themes: Climate Change and Renewable Energy, Sustainable Societies, Sustainable Food Systems, Sustainable Water Resources, Urban-Rural Development, Sustainable Mobility, Circular Economy, Sustainable Tourism and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

We are challenging researchers from different disciplines with an interest in the Baltic Sea Region as an empirical field to discuss Sustainable Development in the Baltic Sea Region. We especially welcome presentations of research having an inter-/multi disciplinary approach.

We are excited to receive Your submission of abstract.

We are excited to meet You in Visby!

Welcome!
